Our revered Brahmasri Jambunatha Diskshitar hails from a glorious town called Nellicehri, which is also in the heart of Chola Desham! Sri Dikshitar is a very well-learned personality and is a Ghanapaadial. He is currently Veda Adhyapaka in a town called Perur in Coimbatore.
Nellicheri along with Sengalipuram has been the home of Ahitagnis for a long time. Our respected Jambunatha Dikshitar himself was saying that Kanchi MahaPeriva used to say the greatness of Nellicheri – where the smoke of Agnihothram would raise to the sky in the mornings.
Sri Dikshitar has endless amount of shraddha for Vedas and devotion for MahaPeriva.
