Brahmasri Sundararama Vajapeyayaji hails from glorious Chola Kingdom – Sengaalipuram, which has been the house for more than 100+ Agnihotris. Our famous Sengaalipuram Sri Anantha Rama Dikshita also hails from this town.
Over revered Dikshitas has studied sroutham under the tutelage of Musiri Dikshitas and his family has been AahitAagni for more than 16 + generations (s). Sri Srundararama Diskshitas has a very good command of Sroutha Sutras, Shulba Sutras, etc., and has decorated BrahmaStanam in several yagnas. His family has been officiating priests (yaajanam) for more than 16+ families for performing monthly ishtis and other yagnas.
Our Dikshita’s lectures are very brilliant and display his command over shastras, Vedas, and Sanskrit. Sri Srundararama Dikshita has written books on Aadhana, Somayagam, etc., and had published 10+ books in Sanskrit!
Sri Sundararama Dikshitar is a living testimony for our Vedic glories! Right from Sanga Period (5000+ years ago) Kaveri/ Delta region has been the homeland for Aahitagnis.
Sri Sundararama Dikshita has studied up to GhanaPaatam and has chanted viloma ganam (chanting ghanapatam in reverse order) and had won prizes!
Our Dikshita also has a patent – a mathematical formula on the length of a radius in Garhapathya, and equivalent lengths for Ahavaneeya, radius for dakshinagni / antharvedi so that all 4 areas will be equal. Sri SundaraRama Dikshita is a genius personality and he shows his mastery of shulba sutras, which is based on Vedic mathematics!
